STEP ONE
After purchasing the printable product, download the files from the PDF you'll receive. It should take you to a webpage that looks like the image below.
STEP TWO
Click “Use template for new design” and customize each printable with your child's name. You'll have to set up a free Canva account to do this, if you don't have one already. You can also edit font styles, font size, wording and all colors!
STEP THREE
Once you're finished customizing the files, print the printables on white card stock paper, any you have on hand will work, but we do recommend a heavy paper like this for best results.
STEP FOUR
Cut around the border of each dog until you have the desired amount of Valentine printables.
STEP FIVE
Tape the pens to the back of each printable so that the “pom pom” part of the pen is sitting where the dog's tail would be.
